Do you use Wix, Squarespace, or other website builders?
No. Every site is built with custom code, not a drag-and-drop builder. That means more control over design, structure, and functionality — and a site that's actually built around your business instead of squeezed into someone else's template.
Is $275 or $500 a monthly payment?
No — those are one-time build fees, paid upfront. After launch, your selected monthly plan begins: Custom Site clients choose Hosting ($4.99), Essential Care ($24.99), or Managed Care ($39.99); Site + Dashboard requires Managed Care ($39.99).
Is a monthly care plan required?
Yes. Every Custom Site requires at least the $4.99/month Hosting plan for as long as Taylored & Coded hosts your website — you aren't choosing whether to have a monthly plan, just which level of ongoing service you want. Site + Dashboard requires Managed Care specifically, since that also covers your dashboard's ongoing infrastructure. Billing begins the day your site launches — never while it's being built.
How long will my website take?
Custom Site: 7–14 business days. Custom Site + Business Dashboard: 10–21 business days. Your timeline begins once your Ready to Build form is submitted and all required content and information have been received — not from your purchase date. Additional functionality, delayed feedback, or requests outside the original scope may extend the timeline.
Can I make changes after launch?
Yes — Managed Care includes up to 3 small updates per month (text, pricing, hours, photos, links) through your portal. Hosting and Essential Care clients can request paid updates individually. Bigger changes, new pages, or new functionality get a custom quote.
What if I don't want to keep paying $4.99/month?
Websites hosted by Taylored & Coded require an active hosting or care plan — you're never required to pay indefinitely if you'd rather move on. If you cancel, your hosting ends and we provide the applicable offboarding/transfer option so you can arrange your own hosting elsewhere.
